  • You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone

You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone

    This phrase gets thrown about

But time and time again it rings true

We take for granted so many things

    Our health

    Our finances

    Our jobs

    Our mobility

    Our ability to love

    Our friends

    Our families

It’s not until one of those things is no longer there that we notice how much of a difference it made to our happiness, to our wellbeing

If you’re warm and comfortable right now. Be thankful

If your stomach is full and your thirst is quenched. Be thankful

If you’re surrounded by a supportive, loving family or friends. Be thankful

If you’re healthy and mobile and can get through your day without pain… be thankful

Just take a moment, let it all sink in and realise how truly lucky you are

    Love, Sophia
